Sri Sakthi Ganapathy Temple (Silver Made)

amma

Sri Sakthi Amma took the Sankalpa to create the world's first and only one-of-its-kind Ganapathy Idol made of Pure Solid Silver, to be consecrated within the premises of Sripuram.

Sri Sakthi Amma's Sankalpa took close to three years to manifest, as the temple was designed as a temple made with carved granite stones. The entire process of cutting, etching, carving the stones was done by adept artisans near Karaikudi, in Tamilnadu and transported to Sripuram.

The Silver idol of Lord Ganapathy weighs about 1.5 tonnes, including the ornate pedestal and the Tiruvacchi (arch behind the idol) were made with solid pure silver. The entire process of creating the mould, melting the silver in urns, and casting the liquid silver into the mould was done in Sripuram, as per Sri Sakthi Amma's directions. The entire idol and the Tiruvacchi (arch) was designed by Sri Sakthi Amma, which is very unique in its features.

It almost feels as if Lord Ganapathy is sitting there in full glory. The auspicious temple was consecrated on Monday the 25th of January 2021 by Sri Sakthi Amma and high priests, witnessed by saints, guests and devotees.

From the 15th January 2021 till the 25th January 2021 a Maha Ganapathy Yagam was conducted by offering 1,08,000 Laddus made with Nine types of grains/pulses along with Ghee, by chanting the Sri Sakthi Ganapathy Moola Manthra.

As per Sri Sakthi Amma's directions, the Sri Sakthi Ganapathy idol is adorned with a unique colour of Silk fabric every single day. Every day Sri Sakthi Ganapathy is adorned with a beautiful fresh hand-made garland of grass, the favourite of Lord Ganapathy.

Every day the auspicious Homam is conducted at the Sri Sakthi Ganapathy Temple by the priests chanting the Moola Mantra, as provided by Sri Sakthi Amma.

Only one-of-its-kind Ganapathy Idol made with Pure Solid Silver weighing 1.7 tonnes.

Pathway of Light

Quote If we surrender then we are always at peace, and whether we get what we want or not, (or even whether we are happy or not) doesn't matter. This is becausewe accept everything that occurs happens for the best.    Quote
